East Hampton Man Charged With Rape Of Two Teens Over Several Years

Apr 9, 2019 3:51 PM

East Hampton Town Police arrested a Springs resident on Saturday and charged him with felonies related to what police say was the sexual abuse of two teenage females.

Bryan C. Ordonez-Albarracin, 23, was arraigned on Sunday morning in East Hampton Town Justice Court on three counts of first-degree rape, one count of second-degree rape, and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, all felonies, plus two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Court documents said he had been sexually abusing the two teenagers for several years, beginning in 2015, when they were 14 years old, and he was 19 years old.

Police said they interviewed the two East Hampton teens and then Mr. Ordonez-Albarracin. He was arrested at 2:51 p.m. on Saturday and held for arraignment on Sunday morning.

According to the court records, Mr. Ordonez-Albarracin admitted to having sexual relations with the two young women at least 10 times since 2015.

The police report stated that the first incident occurred in November 2015, when he forced himself on one girl in his car, holding her down. The court documents said that on Saturday, before his arrest that day, he had sexually assaulted one of the young women, who is now 18, at his home in Springs, forcing her onto a bed and holding his hand over her mouth.

East Hampton Town Justice Steven Tekulsky issued orders of protection for the women and set bail at $80,000, which Mr. Ordonez-Albarracin failed to post. He was transported to the Suffolk County Jail in Riverside by deputy sheriffs.

The maximum sentence for being convicted of rape in the first degree is 25 years under the New York Penal Code. Rape in the first degree is a class B felony, and is classified as a violent felony offense.
